Jorge Buxadé Villalba

Jorge Buxadé Villalba is a Member of the European Parliament and Head of the VOX Delegation within the Patriots for Europe Group. He serves on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) and the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), and is a substitute member of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE) and the Special Committee on the Housing Crisis (HOUS).

Before his election to the European Parliament in 2019, he worked as a State Attorney (Abogado del Estado) in Catalonia for fifteen years. He is also the founder of various foundations and civil society organisations.

He holds a Law degree from Abat Oliba CEU University and has taught Administrative Law at various academic institutions.

He is the author of Sovereignty: Why the Nation Matters and Must Be Defended and Globalism: The Elites Against the People.
