Andrej Lokar was born in Trieste and is a member of the Slovenian minority in Italy. After moving to Ljubljana, Slovenia, he started publishing the cultural and artistic review KDO?, the review for political thought ANAMNESIS, and now is Director of the Institute for Central Europe in Slovenia. He translated and published several books and anticles, essays and some journals. He was the organizer of concerts of sacred classical music at the Ljubljana Cathedral and exhibitions of contemporary Slovenian painters.
